Seeds, seedlings, fertilizers distributed among 2300 farmers in Sonagazi

Seeds, seedlings and fertilizers have been distributed among 2,300 small and marginal farmers under the free incentive distribution program to increase the cultivation of Aman paddy, hybrid chilli, coconut seedlings, palm seedlings, summer vegetables, mango seedlings and neem, bel, jackfruit and jam seedlings planted during the Kharip season in the 2024-25 fiscal year in Sonagazi in Feni.
These were distributed among the beneficiaries in front of the Upazila Agriculture Office on Thursday .
UNO Nazia Hossain was the chief guest at the seed, sapling and fertilizer distribution ceremony presided over by Sonagazi Upazila Agriculture Officer Main Uddin Ahmed. Upazila Engineer Md. Monir Hossain, District Krishak Dal General Secretary Shamsuddin Khokon and officials at various levels of the upazila administration were present.
