Workshop on first aid begins at DU

A two-day training workshop on basic and first aid, jointly organized by Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and Dhaka University Youth Red Crescent (RCY), has started on Friday at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom. Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest.
Dr. Nafiza Ferdousi, Associate Professor of the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology, Dhaka University, and Md. Rezaul Karim, Director of the Disaster and Climate Risk Management Department of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, spoke at the event.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed urged the students to stand by the helpless and endangered people with human values and said that those who can risk their lives to help people are real people.
