In order to increase crop production in the fiscal year (2024-25) in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar, a free seed and chemical fertilizer distribution program has been inaugurated among small and marginal farmers under the agricultural incentive program.
On Monday (June 30) at 11 am, the Kamalganj Upazila Agriculture Office organized a free seed and chemical fertilizer distribution program with Upazila Agriculture Officer Jayanta Kumar Roy in the chair
Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Makhon Chandra Sutradhar inaugurating the free seed and chemical fertilizer distribution program. Kamalganj Press Club Member Secretary Ahmeduzzaman Alam, along with various levels of officials of the Upazila Agriculture Extension Department and beneficiary farmers were present on the occasion.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Jayanta Kumar Roy said,Under the agricultural promotion program to increase amaran cultivation, 3,615 farmers of Kamalganj Upazila will be provided with 5 kg of amaran seeds, 10 kg of DAP fertilizer and 10 kg of MOP fertilizer.
