3 members of gang of thieves arrested with stolen autorickshaws in Rajarhat

Rajarhat Police arrested three members of a gang of autorickshaw thieves in Rajarhat and sent them to court.
Rajarhat Police Station arrested the gang of thieves in a special operation led by SI Jewel Ali on Monday night.
It is learned that Azam Ali (30) of Khitab Khan area of Gharialdanga union of Rajarhat upazila got into the car of autorickshaw driver Azimuddin of Tajhat area of Rangpur as a passenger. At that time, the two exchanged mobile phone numbers.
Recently Azam Ali, a member of the gang of thieves, called auto driver Azimuddin saying that he was going to Umar Majid of Rajarhat from Satmatha in Rangpur. Umar Majid of Rajarhat came to the Rajmallihat market of the union and said that he would have tea and got down from the autorickshaw and took auto driver Azimuddin a little distance away.
Later, Azam Ali escaped on the pretext of talking on the phone. After waiting for a while without receiving a response from Azam Ali, Azimuddin went to the auto-rickshaw parking lot and found that his auto-rickshaw was missing. Later, he filed a case with Rajarhat Police Station. The Rajarhat Police Station was able to arrest the accused number 1 in the case, Azam Ali, and the remaining two members of the gang of thieves by conducting a raid to arrest the accused.
OC of Rajarhat Police Station admitted the incident.
