Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank Chairman conducts special training for newly- appointed senior officers

Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud conducted a special class for newly appointed senior officers during their ongoing foundation training course on Wednesday.
The 90-minute session commenced at 11:30 AM at the Operations Conference Room of the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Headquarters in Khilgaon, Dhaka, with 25 newly joined senior officers in attendance.
Addressing the officers, Major General Sazzad Mahmud outlined key directives on accelerating the rural economy, improving the quality of banking services, and delivering modern, technology-driven financial solutions directly to grassroots communities. He called upon the officers to perform their duties with honesty, dedication, sincerity, and professionalism to ensure the financial security and self-reliance of Ansar and VDP members.
The session covered timely disbursement of microcredit and rural loans, efficient loan recovery, and the expansion of banking services at the field level. He also highlighted financial support strategies to integrate members of the Sanjiban Platoon into self-employment and entrepreneurial initiatives.
At the end of the class, the Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank Chairman answered questions from the trainees, encouraging them to apply their acquired knowledge and skills to elevate service standards and advance financial inclusion in rural areas.
