Armed forces ready to face any situation: Home Adviser

The closing parade of the 14th batch of newly recruited Deputy Jailers and the 62nd batch of Prison Guards training course was held in Rajshahi.

Home Affairs Adviser, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, attended the closing ceremony of the training course on Tuesday morning. 

In response to a question from journalists, he said that there is no lapse in border security. The armed forces are prepared to face any situation. While protesting against the recent push-in at the border, the Government of India has also been urged to return Bangladeshi nationals through proper procedures.

The Adviser praised the basic course for prison guards and stated that the professional knowledge, honesty, and patriotism gained through this training will enable them to play a vital role in the development of the country and the nation.

In the training course, a total of 18 new Deputy Jailers completed a three-month training program, and 508 prison guards completed a six-month course. During the closing parade, the Home  Adviser awarded honors to the best performing Deputy Jailers and new prison guards in various categories.
