Army raid in Boalkhali: One arrested with 490-liters of domestic liquor

Md. Sohel (33), son of Hafez Ahmed of Talukdar Para of Karoldenga Union of Boalkhali Upazila, was arrested with 490 liters of domestic liquor.
On Friday, based on confidential information from a local source, the Boalkhali Army Camp, with the help of the local chairman, recovered a huge consignment of liquor (490 liters of domestic liquor) and arrested the CNG carrying the liquor along with the CNG driver Md. Sohel.
Boalkhali Army Camp Commander Major Md. Russell Pradhan said that a gang has been operating in the area for several days. The Boalkhali Army Camp is trying to arrest the entire gang.
The accused, along with the seized goods, was handed over to the Boalkhali Police Station in a healthy condition for further legal proceedings.
