Budget of Baraigram Municipality of Natore has been announced on Sunday.

The budget of Tk 52 crore 75 thousand 412 was announced in the meeting for the
financial year 2025-26.

UNO and Municipal Administrator Laila Jannatul Ferdous announced the budget at the municipal auditorium.
In the proposed budget, income has been estimated at Tk 4 crore 96 lakh 30 thousand 412 in the revenue sector and Tk 46 crore 58 lakh 50 thousand in the development sector. Expenditure has been estimated at Tk 4 crore 78 lakh 95
thousand 912 in the revenue sector and Tk 46 crore 58 lakh 50 thousand in the development sector. Overall, the budget has been presented by setting capital income and expenditure at Tk 45 lakh 95 thousand and keeping Tk 17 lakh 34
thousand 492 as surplus.
Municipal Administrator Laila Jannatul Ferdous presided over the budget meeting and Municipal Sub Assistant Engineer Md Nurul Islam conducted it.
Former Municipal Mayor Md. Ishaq Ali, Upazila Jamaat Secretary Md Abu Bakar Siddique, Upazila Jubo Dal Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Bakul, Baraigram Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Golam Sarwar Hossain, prominent businessman Iman Ali, Baraigram Smart Press Club President Alhaj Saifur Rahman, Baraigram Upazila Press Club President Ahidul Haque and others spoke at the budget
meeting.
Members of the Municipal Performance Support Committee -Upazila Social
Service Officer Md Rezaul Karim, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer Dr. Malay Kumar Kundu, Upazila Primary Education Officer S.M. Mizanur Rahman, Upazila Engineer Md Sultan Mahmud along with officials and employees of the municipality, political figures, teachers, journalists and elite persons of the of the area were present.
