Bkash worker missing with Tk 6 lakh in Sirajganj

A Bikash worker named Nazmul Hasan Rubel (28) has gone missing with about 6 lakh taka in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj. His motorcycle and helmet were recovered from in front of the Upazila Parishad Central Cemetery on Monday morning.
 
The missing Rubel is the son of Nazrul Islam of Uttar Mathurapur village in Tarash upazila. He was working as a DSO at Bhuiyanganti Bikash Distribution Office in Raiganj.
 
According to office sources, Rubel was supposed to return to the office in the evening after working all day on Sunday (August 24). But his mobile phone was found switched off at night. After searching for him but could not find him, his colleagues filed a written complaint with Raiganj police station around 11:30 pm. The complaint states that at that time Rubel had about 6 lakh taka in cash, a motorcycle and two mobile phones.
 
Locals said that on Monday morning, they saw a motorcycle and a helmet lying in a garden next to the Upazila Parishad Central Cemetery and informed the police. Later, the police recovered them from the spot.
 
Shyama Prasad Joy, an officer of Bhuiyanganti Bikash Distribution Office, said that the recovered motorcycle and helmet belonged to Rubel. However, no trace of him has been found yet.
 
Raiganj Police Station OC  K.M. Masud Rana said,  a complaint has been filed with the police station regarding the disappearance of the Bikash worker. The recovered motorcycle and helmet are at the police station. The police are working to rescue the missing person.
