The district administration organizes weekly public hearings every Wednesday where the Deputy Commissioner of Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain listens to the various problems of the common people and tries to solve them quickly.
As part of his regular inspection, on July 21, when the District Magistrate visited the Barisal Central Jail, the female prisoners lodged there asked the District Magistrate for a TV. During the public hearing today, during the public hearing, the Deputy Commissioner of Barisal Mohammad Delwar Hossain, in collaboration with the Crime Correction and Rehabilitation Association of the District Social Services Department, handed over a TV to Senior Jail Superintendent Muhammad Manjur Hossain for the female prisoners of the Barisal Central Jail. Aktaruzzaman Manun, Assistant Director of the District Social Services Office, Sajjad Parvez, Deputy Director of the Women's Affairs Department, Monirul Nahar Munnir, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer, Ranjit Kumar Sarkar, were present at the time.
Representatives from the Department of Social Services, Department of Women Affairs, Civil Surgeon's Office and District Relief and Rehabilitation Office are present in this public hearing led by the Deputy Commissioner. According to the problems of the citizens, they are immediately sent to the concerned department and quick solutions are taken.
