Durga Puja food items distributed at 90 temples in Mirsarai, 'Padmakshi' unveiled

On the occasion of the autumn Durga festival, a ceremony was held to distribute consumer goods allocated by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to various temples in Mirsarai Upazila and to unveil the book 'Padmakshi'.
The program was organized by the Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Parishad Mirsarai Upazila branch on Monday at Upazila Parishad auditorium. Babu Anirban Chowdhury Rajib, President of the Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Parishad Mirsarai Upazila branch, presided over the event. The program was moderated by the organization's General Secretary Mohan Dey.
Nurul Amin, MP, Member of Parliament for Chittagong-1 (Mirsarai) constituency, was present as the chief guest at the event.
Mirsarai Upazila BNP convener Abdul Awal Chowdhury, member secretary Azizur Rahman Chowdhury, former member secretary Gazi Nizam Uddin, former general secretary Md. Alamgir, former chairman of Wahedpur Union Salahuddin, and presidents and secretaries of various temples were also present as special guests.
At the event, consumer goods allocated for 90 temples in Mirsarai Upazila were distributed. The cover of the book 'Padmakshi' was also unveiled.
The guests present at the event emphasized the importance of spreading the joy and harmony of the autumn Durga festival among everyone, as well as maintaining religious harmony, camaraderie, and mutual cooperation.
