Extended meeting of National Journalists Association held

An extended meeting of the Central Executive Council of the National Journalists' Association has been held. The meeting, which began at 9 am on Friday at Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club, continued till 5 pm.
The meeting was presided over by the President of the Central Executive Council of the National Journalists' Association, Mosa. Asia Akhter. The organization's main report was presented by Secretary General Alamgir Gani. The welcoming speech was delivered by Member Secretary of the Policymaking Council, Muhammad Manjur Hossain.
The meeting discussed and gave instructions on the organizational activities of the National Journalists' Association, future work plans, and various issues related to the professional interests of journalists.
The event was addressed by Jamal Hossain, President of the Policymaking Council, Shahjahan Molla, Executive President of the organization, Advocate Lutfar Rashid Rana, Senior Vice President, MR Prince, Vice President of the Executive Council and Barisal Divisional President, Khairul Islam, Atiqur Rahman Azad, Shihab Uddin Tipu and Advocate Manjurul Haque.
The meeting was addressed by the Joint Secretary General of the Central Executive Council and Barisal District President Md. Mamun-or-Rashid, A. Majid, Arioul Alam Tito, Dhaka District President Mohsin Uddin, Pirojpur District President Hasan Mamun, Jhalakati District President Emdadul Haque Swapan, Patuakhali District President Firoz Ahmed, and the presidents and general secretaries of 64 districts of the country.
The speakers emphasized the importance of strengthening and organizing the National Journalists' Organization and working together to ensure the professional dignity, rights, and safety of journalists.
