Financial grants distributed to July fighters in Pirojpur

Financial grant cheques have been distributed in Pirojpur to the “C” category July Fighters injured in the July uprising, funded by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
On Monday afternoon, the Pirojpur district administration organized a ceremony at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, where 92 July Fighters categorized as “C” were each given a cheque of 1 lakh taka—totaling 92 lakh taka. The cheques were distributed by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan.
Also present at the event were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Israt Jahan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Nasrin Jahan, and Upazila Nirbahi Officers from various upazilas of the district.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan stated that these cheques are not just financial assistance but a mark of honor. The brave children of the July Uprising represent a glorious chapter in our national history. The present government is always by the side of the July Fighters injured in the uprising and is working to support them and reintegrate them into normal life.
