Health Complex officials form human chain in Rajarhat demanding safety in workplace

Staff working at Rajarhat Upazila Health Complex formed a human chain and protest rally demanding a safe workplace at Rajarhat Upazila Health Complex building premises at 11 am on Monday.
The speakers at the rally said that on June 28, a brutal attack took place on pharmacist Abu Mottaleb Mamun, working at Rajarhat Upazila Health Complex. We want the criminals involved in this brutal attack to be brought to justice and punished. We also want the safety of other staff working in the hospital.
Medical Officer Manisha Das, Child Consultant Dr. Umme Kulsum Beauty, Medical Technologist Anwar Hossain, Junior Pharmacist Zahid Hasan, Office Assistant Cum-Computer Operator Ujjwal Roy, Senior Staff Nurse Sharmin Nahar, Midwife Lata Roy and others spoke at the human chain and protest rally organized under the banner of Bangladesh Diploma Association Kurigram District Branch.
It is mentioned that on Saturday afternoon, June 28, a pharmacist at Rajarhat Upazila Health Complex was brutally attacked while on duty. Injured pharmacist Abu Mottaleb Mamun confirmed the fact that a complaint was filed at Rajarhat Police Station in this incident.
