Human chain in protest against attack on journalist in Nilphamari

Journalists have formed a human chain and protest rally in Nilphamari Jaldhaka to protest against the attack on District Reporters Unity President Swarnali Akhter Swapna. Organized by Reporters Unity at Zero Point More on Monday afternoon.
Unity President Rasheduzzaman Sumon presided over the event.
Reporters Unity Vice President Abul Kalam Azad, General Secretary Harun Or Rashid, Joint General Secretary Jasinur Rahman, Legal Affairs Secretary Asaduzzaman, Member Shahidul Islam, Journalist Hasanuzzaman Siddiqui, NI Manik and others spoke at the event.
The speakers demanded a proper investigation into the incident and immediate prosecution of the culprits. Journalists from various electronic and print media were present at this human chain and protest rally. It is worth noting that on Wednesday night, the Nilphamari District Reporters Unity President was attacked and harassed by the people of the Lakshicap Union Chairman.
