Indomitable Litun Jira scores GPA -5 in SSC by writing with his mouth in Jashore

Born without arms and legs in Manirampur, Jessore, strong with indomitable willpower, Litun Jira has been leaving a mark of talent and talent in one exam after another. The indomitable talented Litun Jira has also surprised in the recently released SSC results. She passed the SSC exam by getting GPA-5 in all subjects from the science department. Litun Jira participated in the 2025 SSC exam from Gopalpur School and College in Manirampur upazila. In the future, this talented and fighting child dreams of becoming a doctor to devote herself to the service of the backward and underprivileged people of the society. 
 
Litun Jira's family was elated after the results were released on Thursday (July 10) afternoon. Expressing satisfaction with the results, Litun Jira said that she wants to study better and become a doctor.
 
 Litun Jira is the younger of two sons and daughters of Habibur Rahman and Jahanara Begum of Satnal Khanpur village in Manirampur upazila of Jessore. The elder son is studying at a private university in Dhaka. Litun Jira has excelled in PEC (Primary Education Completion Examination) and JSC examinations, won a scholarship in primary, and has made a remarkable contribution to cultural activities as well as being the best student in the class. Physical disabilities have given way to his concentration and indomitable willpower. He has also received recognition for extra-curricular activities at the upazila, district and divisional levels.
 
It is known that Litun Jira is moving forward like a normal child in society and the public, overcoming all obstacles. In fact, he is moving forward with more determination than a normal child.  In 2023 and 2024, Litun Jira was the champion in the talent search competition at the upazila level for two consecutive years, the champion in the district level in the International Mother Language Day essay competition in 2023, and won the gold medal in the national children and adolescents competition in the same year. On January 4 of the same year, he got the opportunity to sing on Khulna Betar.
 
Litun Jira said, “I want to study more. I am moving forward with that dream of becoming a doctor one day.” 
Talking to him, it was learned that he does not consider physical disabilities an obstacle. Rather, he is overcoming the mountains of adversity using his strong morale and willpower.
 
He has shown his achievements even before, just by holding a pen and writing. He received scholarships in the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and JSC examinations, was the best student in his class. Not only in studies, but also in cultural activities, he has received recognition at the upazila, district and divisional levels.
 
 Litun Jira's mother Jahanara Begum said in an emotional voice, after her birth, she shed tears for many nights thinking about her daughter Litun Jira's future. What will a girl who has no arms and legs be able to do when she grows up? She used to be terrified by such unknown fears. As her daughter grew up, her strong interest in studies and her talent have transformed that fear into a ray of hope for her.
 
Her father, a college teacher, Habibur Rahman, said that the college where he works has not been MPO-registered for 19 years. Still, he never let the boys and girls understand his lack. Since that child's age, he has taken Litun Jira, who could not walk, to school in a wheelchair, treading muddy paths and enduring storms and rain. She also got the expected results in SSC. Now she will have to fight with obstacles in college too. Litun Jira dreams of becoming a doctor in the future to devote herself to serving the backward and underprivileged people of the society.  He seeks everyone's prayers and cooperation to fulfill that dream.
Litun Jira is the youngest child in their family. His elder brother is studying at a private university in Dhaka. And Litun Jira is moving forward with indomitable courage and endless dreams.
 
Litun's classmate Sajeeb Hossain said, 'Litun Jira is a very close friend of mine. He is very talented. We are very happy that he got GPA 5. We all wish him well.'
 
Principal of Gopalpur School and College, Litun Jira's educational institution, Md. Rezaul Karim said, 'Litun Jira is incredibly talented. He is not only the first in his class, but also one of the best and unique in the school. Not only in studies, but also in cultural activities. Litun Jira has participated in the science department of SSC and got GPA 5. We are all happy with his result.  I wish her all the best for her future higher education.’
 
UNO  Nishat Tamanna said, ‘Litun Jira is a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and indomitable willpower. I have been regularly checking up on Litun Jira at the Nehalpur School and College Examination Center. I am very happy with her results. 
 
After receiving the news of her amazing results, I personally went to her house and distributed the gifts given by the District Administrator. I wish her all the best and success for her bright future.
