With the aim of sharing the joy of the holy month of Ramadan, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Kabirhat Upazila branch organized an Iftar event in honor of political leaders and dignitaries.

The Iftar event was held at the Shaheed Hall of Shirin Garden in Tentultola area of Kabirhat Upazila after Asr on Friday. 

Present at the event under the leadership of Upazila Jamaat Ameer Fakhrul Islam Milon and Jamaat Secretary Maulana Yasin were Noakhali District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Md. Ismail Hossain Manik, Companiganj Upazila Jamaat Ameer Principal Belayet Hossain, Kabirhat Upazila BNP former convener Kamrul Huda Chowdhury Liton, Municipal BNP convener Mostafizur Rahman Manju, Upazila BNP former member secretary Sourav Hossain Kamal, Municipal BNP member secretary Belayet Hossain Khokon, Upazila Jamaat former Ameer Md. Elias, etc.

The speakers at the event said, "In the month of Ramadan, we are all Muslims, there is no difference. There is no party, no class division, the main objective is to bring all people together and break the fast, so this Iftar mahfil is organized with people from all classes and professions from the union to special people. This increases sincerity and love for each other." All in all, our identity is that we are all Muslims. Although we are divided into different groups in the world, we are all basically one group, which is Islam. The speakers also commented that we will remain united in this way in the future as well.

Finally, special prayers and supplications were offered for the welfare of Muslims and humanity and for the well-being of the country. Later, the program ended with Iftar.
