Journalist, businessman and volunteer organizer Md. Masum has planted saplings of fruit and medicinal trees in various schools in Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj. He took this exceptional initiative to protect the environment on the occasion of his birthday.on Friday.
The tree plantation program was held at the playground of Brahmanvita Union High School and Pura Government Primary School and on the side of the road in Tongibari upazila.
Md. Masum was born in Pura village of Yashlong Union in Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj district. His formal education began from Pura Government Primary School. Then he enrolled in Daghil from Dighirpar Mohammadia Islamia Dakhil Madrasa, completed his higher secondary from Serajabad Rana Shafiullah College, and successfully completed his honors and master's from Munshiganj Government Harganga College.
The tree plantation program was attended by Rajib Sheikh, joint convener of the Upazila Volunteer Party, journalists Sumon Hawlader, Rabbi Sardar, Organizing Secretary of Tongibari Upazila JASAS Firoz Ahmed, Sharif Hossain and local dignitaries.
