Mirzaganj Social Welfare Foundation, a humanitarian and development organization, has been working for the welfare of all classes of people in Mirzaganj, a traditional upazila of Patuakhali district in the southern region of Bangladesh, for the past decade, for social, economic, educational, cultural, moral and infrastructural development.

In addition to fulfilling important responsibilities at the national level of the state, a Virtuous People's Gathering and Honors Program was organized for those Virtuous People, those great creative children and distinguished individuals who have played a special role in implementing various programs undertaken by this Foundation.

The program held at the Supreme Court Bar Auditorium on Friday was presided over by Mirzaganj Social Welfare Foundation Chairman Md. Nasir Uddin Jahangir, and former Secretary and Honorable Member of the National Unity Commission Dr. Mohammad Ayub Mia, the main discussant was the pioneer colorectal surgeon of the subcontinent, Professor Dr. AKM Fazlul Haque.

The speakers at the event thanked everyone, including the Chairman of Mirzaganj Social Welfare Foundation, for standing by the neglected people of Mirzaganj through various cooperation. The speakers expressed their determination to stand by the neglected people of Mirzaganj in any need.

Chairman of the Foundation Md. Nasir Uddin Jahangir thanked everyone present in his speech and said that for the past 12 years, we have distributed hundreds of auto rickshaws and hundreds of goats to the backward people of Mirzaganj under the self-reliance project, and they are all now self-reliant. We have bigger plans for the future. Therefore, I am calling on all circles of society to come forward.
