Calling for essential state reforms, justice for mass killings, and the implementation of a proportional representation system to ensure fair and impartial elections, the Ameer of Islami Andolon Bangladesh, Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, issued a stern warning against all conspiracies targeting the country and Islam.

Speaking at a massive public rally held at Kapuria Patti in Morrelganj, Bagerhat, on Thursday at 5 PM, he said, there is no place in this country for subservient, extortionist occupiers who implement foreign prescriptions.

 We have driven out the fascists, and we will block every path for their return.

The rally was presided over by Maulana H.M. Saiful Islam, President of Islami Andolon’s Morrelganj Upazila unit. Special guests included Naib-e-Ameer Hafez Maulana Abdul Awal, central leader Principal Maulana Abdul Majid, and Jamaat-e-Islami’s Bagerhat-4 (Morrelganj-Sarankhola) constituency candidate, Principal Abdul Alim.

Among others who spoke at the event were Hafez Maulana Mahfuzur Rahman (President, Islami Andolon Bagerhat District), Hafez Maulana Mosharraf Hossain (Secretary), Maulana Yusuf Iqbal, nominated candidate Maulana Omar Faruq Bin Noori, teacher Ruhul Amin Sardar, and Upazila Secretary Maulana Asadullah.

Before the rally began, leaders and activists from various unions of the upazila arrived in processions, turning Kapuria Patti into a sea of people. Despite heavy rain, attendees remained at the venue for an extended period, attentively listening to Charmonai Pir’s address.

He further said true peace in the country can only be established through an Islamic governance system. That’s why everyone must work unitedly to establish Islamic rule by voting for the hand fan symbol in the upcoming election.

Although the public rally concluded peacefully, it stirred widespread discussions across the region. Locally, it is being regarded as a major display of the organizational strength of Islami Andolon.
