None will be exempted if there are irregularities with Family Card :State Minister Tuku

State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock and Member of Parliament for Tangail-5 constituency Sultan Salahuddin Tuku said, "Everyone will receive family cards in phases. If anyone tries to commit irregularities in the distribution of these cards, please inform us. No one involved in irregularities will be spared, action will be taken against them."
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of a field-level data collection program to implement the family card at the Tangail Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.
The State Minister said, people have been appointed for family cards. They will go door to door to collect information. Beneficiary families will be identified through information collection and verification. So, there is no need for anyone to run around or lobby. Everyone should be careful in this regard.
He said, "We BNP try to implement what we say. Before the election, we said that we will give family cards. Today, its activities were inaugurated. We also promised to give farmer cards, and the honorable Prime Minister inaugurated it from Tangail.
Regarding the law and order situation on the occasion of the upcoming autumn Durga Puja, the State Minister said, "Law enforcement agencies will be on alert to ensure the security of the puja mandap.
Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office Shahidullah, former member secretary of the district BNP Md. Mahmudul Haque Sanu and Sadar Upazila BNP President Md. Azgar Ali were present as special guests at the event. Tangail Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Shahin Mia presided over the event.
At that time, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Adibul Islam, former organizing secretaries of district BNP Ashraf Paheli and Shafiqur Rahman Khan Shafiq, senior joint secretary of upazila BNP Advocate Azim Uddin Biplob, and leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations were present.
Later, rice DO allocated by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief was distributed at the Upazila Auditorium on the occasion of the upcoming Sharadi Durga Puja-2026 celebration. In addition, State Minister Sultan Salahuddin Tuku also participated as the chief guest in the distribution of financial grants provided by the municipality for the puja mandap of 18 wards of Tangail Municipality.
