One arrested with Yaba in Narail

In a successful operation, Narail District Detective Police (DB) arrested one drug dealer along with 91 pieces of Yaba tablets. The arrested individual has been identified as Md. Shahadat Sheikh (38), son of Babar Ali Sheikh, a resident of Shingasholpur village under Narail Sadar Police Station on Saturday night at the paved road in front of Imdadul Sheikh’s grocery shop near Singa Club Mor under Ward No. 9, Shingasholpur Union of Narail Sadar.
Acting on a tip-off and under the supervision of Officer-in-Charge of the DB, Md. Shahadara Khan (PPM), the operation was led by SI (Unarmed) Md. Faruk Hossain, ASI (Unarmed) Kamruzzaman, Constable Narayan, and accompanying force. Md. Shahadat Sheikh was apprehended during the raid, and 91 pieces of illegal Yaba tablets were seized from his possession.
A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Narail Sadar Police Station regarding the incident. The accused has been presented before the court.
Under the directives of Narail Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, the district police are actively working towards a drug-free Narail.
