Shafiqul Islam Basunia, Head Teacher of Ramdev High School in Sundarganj, Gaibandha, has protested against the irregularities and corruption.
The human chain and demonstration program was organized under the banner of all the students of the school and the locals of the school boycotted the class in front of Ramdev High School of Bamdanga Union on Sunday afternoon.
A protest march was taken out of the school grounds with the participation of hundreds of students. The procession came to the Sundarganj-Rangpur regional road and made human bonds. At one point, they blocked the road and protested. During this time, the students and locals highlighted the irregularities and corruption of the head teacher in different slogans.
Speaking at the hour -long humanitarian program, the 5th grade student of the school, Reshmi Akhter, Sharmin Akhter and Sohali Akhter, 8th grade Shefali Akhter, Lamia Akhter, Sagarika Akhter, former student Mehdi Hassan, Nazmul Hassan, Shamul Hassan, Shamul Hassan, Shamul HassanMia, Mahidul Islam.The students said that the head teacher Shafiqul Islam Basunia has made his uncle Halim Basunia as the president of the school's managing committee in the past. At that time, the head teacher and his uncle showed the power of the other teachers, showing various fears.
The students also said that rice and grass are currently cultivated there by occupying the playground of our school and keeping the head teacher lease-band. It has been alleged that the head teacher is raising thousands of rupees of the year. The headmaster of the school said that the mosque in the school was taken from each student at the Vedas and took thousands of taka without building a mosque.
There was also a post office next to the school, the head teacher evacuated it. Due to this, the people of that area are suffering extreme. The students complained that the head teachers were intimidated by various people to protest the irregularities and corruption. At the same time, the corrupt head teacher demanded quick removal. Otherwise they announced that they would build a harsh movement.
Assistant head teacher of the school, Badia Rahman, said, "I did not come long. Ever since arriving, I have been seen cultivating paddy at the school playground. The matter is known to the managing committee and the teacher.
On this day, the head teacher's room was seen locked. Later in the cellphone, Shafiqul Islam Basunia, the head teacher of the school, said, "The head teacher who was before me kept the land of the field." Still in that situation. Responding to the question of why the current head teacher has been working in the school for 20 years, he said, "The land has not been removed because the mortgage money has not been managed." He said the students would be arranged for the students to play if the money was arranged.
Belal Hessen, Academic Supervisor of Sundarganj Upazila, said, we know that the students are protesting by excluding classes.
