Popular Life Insurance disburses Tk 7.38 cr in insurance claims in Cumilla
Popular Life Insurance PLC disbursed insurance claim cheques worth Tk 7.38 crore to policyholders in Cumilla district on Tuesday as part of its ongoing special initiative to expedite claim settlements.
The cheque handover ceremony and a discussion meeting were held at the conference hall of the company's own office in Cumilla.
B. M. Yousuf Ali, Managing Director and CEO of Popular Life Insurance and President of the Bangladesh Insurance Forum, attended the event as the chief guest. Additional Managing Director B. M. Showkat Ali and Senior Deputy Managing Director Syed Motahar Hossain were present as special guests.
The event was presided over by the company's Legal Advisor, Advocate Daud Ahmed Chhobir Bhuiyan, while Project In-charges Md. Ahsanul Islam and Md. Kamruzzaman jointly moderated the programme.
Deputy Managing Directors Md. Kamal Hossain Mohsin and Mohammad Khalilur Rahman Sikder, Senior Executive Director Mohammad Salim Mia, Executive Directors Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Sajjad Mahmud Kishor, and Md. Solaiman Hossain Sohag, among other senior officials, were also present and addressed the gathering.
