Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner says : Fish should not be produced just for profit, but to save to environment

Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Khondakar Azim Ahmed said, "Although fish farming is profitable, our environment, religious and cultural thought cannot be gone." We need to produce fish suitable fish. Fish should be produced not just for profit, but also conserving the environment.
He said this while addressing the chief guest at a conference room organized by the Rajshahi Divisional Fisheries Directorate on Sunday on the occasion of the celebration of National Fisheries Week-2021.
Khondakar Azim Ahmed said, "We need to understand what our natural environment is suitable for fish production." Mixing harmful hormones in fisheries or livestock will cause a lot of goodness for all if different diseases are created. He agreed to the farmers' demands for setting up a pathology lab to suppress fish disease.
He also said that under alternative employment, auto -rickshaws will be provided among the fishermen in the city instead of the calf. He assured the increase in the amount of rice provided as part of encouragement to the families of fishermen and fishermen.
