RDA Lab: School and College celebrated its “40th anniversary” on Saturday, May 2 with due dignity and solemnity.

The event organized by the Alumni Association of the institution was attended by the Chief Guest, Director General of RDA, Bogra (Additional Secretary to the Government of the People Republic of Bangladesh) Dr. A, K, M Oli Ullah. The Principal of RDA School & College, Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, was present as the special guest. The event was presided over by A. M. Anwar Hossain Biman, an alumnus of the SSC 1994 batch of the institution and a lecturer in Biology of the
institution, A. M. Anwar Hossain Biman, General Secretary- Alumni Association.

The event was moderated by Rezaul Haque Milon, Organizing Secretary- Alumni Association. The purpose of this program was to revive the 40-year history of RDA Lab: School and College, build bridges between current and former students, give special honors to those who have contributed to the progress of this institution and establish the Alumni Association.

The formal inauguration, assembly, cake cutting, rally were held at the school and college grounds. Then the discussion program started in the auditorium. At the beginning of this phase, the documentary titled“RDA Lab: 40 Years of the Establishment of School and College” produced by Mr. A. M. Anwar Hossain Biman was shown on the big screen. Which created an emotional atmosphere among all thosepresent. The first phase of the program ended with reminiscences, speeches by the guests and thepresentation of honors.

After the Friday prayers and lunch, the second phase of the program started with a cultural program. Current and former students made the program enjoyable by performing poetry, comedy, dance and songs. Finally, the event was declared over with the closing remarks of the chairman.
