The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani, was present as the chief guest at the event organized on this occasion at the NSTU Bir Shrestha Shahid Mohammad Ruhul Amin Auditorium. Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani said, National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam created immense enthusiasm in our social and political context through his literature. There is no branch of literature where Nazrul did not walk. He was elevated to the position of a universal writer by creating a non-communal consciousness.
To know Nazrul, we need to know his philosophy well. We will move forward on the path of building a liberal and non-discriminatory state by embracing the humanism of this great poet.
The keynote speaker of the seminar, Bangla Academy Director General Professor Dr. Mohammad Azam, said, "When we discuss Kazi Nazrul Islam, we usually identify him as a poet of rebellion, equality or humanity. While these are important aspects of his literary identity, the scope of Nazrul's creativity is much broader than this.
Convener of the Nazrul Year Celebration Committee, Prof Dr. Gazi Md. Mohsin presided over the program, and the university's Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Shafiqul Islam and Treasurer, Professor Dr. Md. Hasan Uddin spoke as special guests. The seminar was discussed by literary figure and Nazrul researcher Dr. Abuhena Abdul Awal. The welcome speech was delivered by the member secretary of the Nazrul Year Celebration Committee, Dr. Md. Shiblur Rahman.

Teachers, students, officers and employees of various departments i were present at the time. Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the cultural competition and a pleasant cultural program was organized.
