Special operation : Moheshkhali police arrested nine persons on various charges

In a special operation by Moheshkhali police, nine people were arrested from 8 unions in 24 hours ending on Wednesday.
The arrestees are - Mohammad Selim Ullah (50), president of Awami League and UP member of Ward 7, Chhoto Moheshkhali Union, Mohammad Shafi (55), president of Awami League of Ward 7, Boro Moheshkhali Union, Mohammad Shahjahan (25), organisational secretary of Chhatra League of Ward 7, Hwanak Union, Sukumar Chandra Dey (49), president of Awami League of Ward 4, Boro Moheshkhali Union, Nurul Alam (71), member of Awami League of Ward 8, Matarbari Union, known as Tungipara, Nurul Kader (45), relief secretary of Jubo League of Shapalapur Union, Rafiq Uddin (53), general secretary of Awami League of Ward 8, Matarbari Union, Rahmat Ullah (40), president of Awami League of Ward 9, Hwanak Union, and Mohammad Abul Kashem (60), president of Awami League of Ward 1, Boro Moheshkhali Union.
Eyewitnesses report that other devils have gone into hiding upon hearing the news of the police's special operation.
The head of the special operation, OC Mohammad Manzurul Haque of Moheshkhali Police Station said, no devil will be spared. The operation will continue.
