Tungipara BNP Confe held after 17-yr : Sheikh Salauddin President, Moniruzzaman Bablu General Secretary

The bi-annual conference of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) for Tungipara Upazila and Municipality was held on June 30 at the municipal bus terminal. After a long gap of 17 years, the event generated great enthusiasm among party leaders and activists.
The conference was presided over by convenor Sheikh Salauddin. The chief guest was BNP Vice Chairman Dr. Asaduzzaman Ripon, while the keynote speaker was SM Jilani, President of the BNP’s central Volunteer Wing. Special guests included Shama Obaid, Selimuzzaman Selim, Khandaker Masukur Rahman, and other leaders of the Gopalganj District BNP.
In the second session of the conference, a partial committee was announced. Sheikh Salauddin was elected President and Moniruzzaman Bablu General Secretary of Tungipara Upazila BNP. Md. Imdad Molla was elected President and Jihadul Islam Babu General Secretary of the Municipal BNP.
Party activists expressed satisfaction at the recognition of dedicated and long-serving leaders. Many called for SM Jilani to be nominated as the BNP candidate for Gopalganj-3 constituency in the upcoming national election, praising his transparent and principled leadership.
