Typhoid Vaccine Campaign held in remote areas of Goalando

Typhoid Vaccine Campaign 2025 was launched at educational institutions in remote areas of Goalando.
On Sunday (August 24) at around 10 am, the Upazila Health Complex organized this motivational campaign at around 12 noon at Majlishpur Joynal Mridha Government Primary School in the remote Ujanchar Union of the upazila.
The campaign was conducted by Sultan Uddin Ahmed and Sirajul Islam, assistant health inspectors of the Upazila Health Complex.
Also present were Health Assistant Sabuj Molla, Masud Rana, Sohel Rana and CHCP Billal Hossain.
It is learnt that from 1st September 2025, on 18 working days, all children from 9 months to 15 years, in 9th grade or equivalent educational institutions or outside educational institutions. All educational institutions including local EPI centers, schools / madrasas in the upazila (on designated days) and permanent centers (on all days of the campaign) will be given TCV vaccination completely free of charge.
The child must be registered online with the 17-digit digital birth certificate.
