Workshop on Partner Field School Congress in Rangamati

Programme on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition Entrepreneurship and Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNERS) has organized a workshop on "Partner Field School Congress" on n Tuesday at 10 am.
Nasim Haider, Additional Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension (Rangamati Region), was the chief guest at the workshop at the Rangamati Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium.
The workshop was presided over by Upazila Agriculture Officer Shahnaz Parveen, and facilitated by Agricultural Extension Officer Usman Gani.
Partner Chief Monitoring Officer Riazuddin, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Mohali Krimar Chakma, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Beauty Chakma and members of the Partner Field School Congress were also present at the time.
The workshop provided ideas on solving various problems related to agriculture and cultivating various crops. In the hilly regions, agriculture faces various problems such as: communication problems due to the remoteness of the hilly areas, lack of suitable farmers, irrigation problems, adverse weather conditions, language problems.
To solve these problems; effective steps should be taken by the state to improve the communication system, emphasis should be placed on education in the local language to eliminate language problems, we should develop skilled farmers, and utmost importance should be given to the development of the irrigation system.
