3-day Land Service Fair inaugurated in Kulaura

Land Service Week has been inaugurated in Kulaura, Moulvibazar with the aim of providing easy, transparent and digitalized land services at the doorsteps of the people and increasing citizen awareness. The three-day land service fair was inaugurated with the theme "People-friendly Automated Land Management: Protected Land, Prosperous Future". A colorful rally was organized on this occasion at 9:30 am on Tuesday at Upazila Land Office premises.
The rally, organized by the Upazila Land Office Kulaura and in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, started from the Upazila Land Office premises, circled the nearby road and ended at the same place. Later, the chief guest of the event, Alhaj Shawkatul Islam Shaku, Member of Parliament for Moulvibazar-2 Kulaura constituency, inaugurated the Land Service Desk by cutting the ribbon.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Anisul Islam presided over the special guest speech by Upazila Executive Officer Sanjida Akhter. Present at the event were Upazila Fisheries Officer Md. Abu Masud, Upazila BNP General Secretary Badruzzaman Sajal, former convener Redwan Khan, Nabin Chandra Government Model High School Headmaster Md. Amir Hossain, Bhukshimail Union Parishad Chairman Azizur Rahman Monir, Kulaura Police Station OC (Investigation) Habibur Rahman, media personnel and incoming service recipients.
The speakers said that through digital land management, the common people can now easily receive various land services including land registration and rent payment from their homes. The government is working to reduce land-related complications and deliver services quickly to the doorsteps of the people. Various land-related services, advice and information will be provided in this three-day fair. In addition, citizens are being made aware of various issues including mutation (registration), land development tax payment, and information related to ledgers.
Service seekers arriving at the fair were encouraged to use the land services portal and were informed about receiving land services and filing complaints by calling 16122.
