A 3-day (26-2 May) training for farmers, deep tube well operators and dealers under the Partner Program has been completed in Chapainawabganj.
A 3-day (26-2 May) training for farmers, deep tube well operators and dealers under the Partner Program has been completed in Chapainawabganj.
Certificates were distributed among the trainees at the end of the training in the hall of the district BMDA on Wednesday.
The program was presided over by Md. Al Mamunur Rashid, Executive Engineer of BMDA, Chapainawabganj Region, and Dr. Md. Abul Kashem, Agency Program Director of Partner Program, BMDA, Rajshahi was the chief guest. Md. Shamsher Ali, Supervising Engineer of BMDA, Rajshahi was the special guest.
The chief guest was Dr. Prof. Md. Abul Kashem said, "The Program on Agriculture and Rural Transformation for Nutrition Entrepreneurshipand Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNERS) is the largest project undertaken in the agricultural sector to ensure food and nutrition security by transforming current agriculture into sustainable and safe commercial agriculture for the future of Bangladesh." This is the largest project undertaken so far for the development of agriculture.
He said, through the activities of this project, the farmers, agricultural services, agricultural society and agribusiness of this country, and above all, the rural areas of Bangladesh will be transformed into a developed Bangladesh.He sincerely thanked all the staff including the Executive Engineer of Chapainawabganj BMDA Region for organizing the 3-day training workshop.Officers, trainers and trainees of the district BMDA were present at the time.
