The 6th Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) Meeting of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) was held on Tuesday at the University's Syndicate Room. The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brigadier General S M Lutfor Rahman.

The meeting discussed various important issues related to improving the quality of education, ensuring academic standards, strengthening internal quality assurance activities, and enhancing the overall quality of higher education. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining quality in academic, research, and administrative activities, ensuring effective evaluation mechanisms, and achieving institutional excellence.

The Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of collective efforts, responsibility, and sincerity among all concerned in improving the quality of education at the university. He highlighted that regular assessment, proper planning, effective implementation, and continuous improvement are essential for ensuring quality higher education.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Md. Monimul Haque, Department of Statistics, University of Rajshahi, as the UGC-nominated member; Colonel Dewan Md. Liaqat Ali (Retd.), Registrar of BAUET; Prof. Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Humanities and Law; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; Prof. Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC); Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Department of Chemistry; and Md. Hamidur Rahman, Associate Professor, Department of English, and Additional Director of IQAC, along with other members of the Quality Assurance Committee.
