7 arrested in Rajshahi city in Special Operation including one linked to student protest attack

A total of 7 individuals have been arrested during special operations conducted by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), including officers from local police stations and the Detective Branch (DB).
Within the last 24 hours on Wednesday special drives were carried out in various parts of the city. One person was arrested in connection with allegations of attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, involvement in explosions, and other terrorist activities. In addition, 6 more individuals were arrested as part of the RMP’s broader operations—3 on outstanding warrants, 1 in a narcotics case, and 2 for other criminal offenses.
Among those arrested in the special drive was a Jubo League activist named Raihanul Alam Milon (42), son of the late Mozzafar Hossain alias Suja, from the Darikhurbona area under Boalia Model Police Station in Rajshahi.
Legal action has been taken against all the arrested individuals.
