At a ceremony held at the District Education Officer's office on Thursday each institution was given 25,000 taka. The ceremony was organized by the Narayanganj Integrated District Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
These honesty stores will have products but no vendors. Students will buy the products of their choice after looking at the price list of the products and write the product details in a ledger and deposit the money in the box next to it. The ACC hopes that through this, the mindset of ethics, morality and honesty will be developed among the students.
