Nurul Huda (23), an Omani expatriate suffering from stomach cancer, is suffering from death pain due to lack of money. His body is now in a state of disrepair.

Although his family has been treating him in various hospitals in Dhaka for the past 5 months on loan, he has been brought back home due to lack of money. Now, this expensive treatment in a poor family is like a wound on the back of his unemployed father.

Nurul Huda is the son of Maulana Belal Uddin of Nalua village, Ward No. 1, Dhansiri Union, Kabirhat Upazila, Noakhali. He is the fifth of five brothers and one sister. He migrated to Oman on December 21, 2022, in search of a livelihood. A cruel twist of fate: This remittance warrior was diagnosed with terminal cancer after spending years abroad.

Father Maulana Belal Uddin said that when he suddenly fell ill while working abroad, he was rushed to a hospital in Oman. Then, when the doctors asked to make quick arrangements to send him home, the owner sent him home. After returning home, it was discovered after many tests that Nurul Huda was suffering from terminal stomach cancer. Meanwhile, some doctors in the country said that her condition was getting worse day by day. She will have to stay in advanced treatment for a long time. However, the treatment cost will be very high.

Elder brother Md. Abdullah said that Nurul Huda's treatment for 5 consecutive months in various hospitals in Dhaka cost about 1.5 million taka. The family paid all of it by borrowing from people. But the lower-middle-class father was unable to bear the cost of her treatment. As a result, Nurul Huda was forced to return home. Now Nurul Huda, who is suffering from an incurable disease, is waiting for his death in a room of his house.

Father Maulana Belal Uddin further said that doctors have said that more advanced treatment is needed to cure Nurul Huda. He is currently dying without treatment at home. Due to the lack of advanced treatment, his physical condition is deteriorating day by day. In this situation, his father is seeking help from the wealthy to save his son. If he gets advanced treatment, my son will return to a new life.
