Baira Life Insurance holds AGMs, approves financial reports, elects new board
Baira Life Insurance Company Limited successfully conducted its 20th and 21st Annual General Meetings (AGM) at a hotel in the capital's Bijoynagar area on Sunday.
The meetings witnessed active participation from company shareholders, who unanimously reviewed and adopted all agenda items presented by the management.
Key outcomes of the general body included the unanimous approval of the company's audited annual financial statements for the fiscal years 2019 and 2020 following detailed deliberations. Additionally, the shareholders approved the formation of a new Board of Directors and formally appointed statutory auditors for the upcoming fiscal year.
The company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Company Secretary were present during the proceedings to facilitate administrative operations and address shareholder inquiries regarding corporate governance and financial performance.
