BMP Commissioner Ashique Sayeed greeted by media association

Leaders of the National Print and Electronic Media Oikya Parishad, Barishal Division, extended their congratulations and floral greetings to Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) Commissioner (DIG) Md. Ashique Sayeed on Saturday evening.
The organizational leaders visited the Police Commissioner's office around 7:00 PM to present the bouquet.
The delegation included the association's President Masud Rana, Barishal Bureau Chief of Dainik Bhorer Akash; General Secretary Mahfuz Islam Sabuj, Barishal Bureau Chief of Dainik Dhaka Protidin; Vice President Kazi Wahid Murad, Staff Reporter of Jatiya Sangbad Sanjog; Mashudur Rahman Aslam, Senior Staff Reporter of Talash BD Online News; and Hafez Md. Zakaria, Barishal Bureau Chief of Dainik Oishee Bangla, along with other executive members of the organization.
During the exchange, the media leaders highly praised the various steps taken by the police commissioner to maintain law and order and eradicate narcotics and terrorism across Barishal. They also sought the continuous cooperation of the police department to ensure professional journalism and safeguard media freedom in the metropolitan area.
Accepting the greetings, BMP Commissioner DIG Md. Ashique Sayeed expressed his gratitude to the journalists. He emphasized the importance of a strong partnership between the police and the press, seeking active cooperation from the media to build Barishal into a safe and livable city.
