BRUR arranges special food for students on Eid-ul-Adha

Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali has arranged special meals for students, officials and employees engaged in emergency work and security personnel staying on campus on Saturday (June 7) at 7:30 am.
Eid-ul-Azhar congregational prayers were held at the university's central mosque premises. The Vice-Chancellor offered Eid prayers with the university's teachers, students, officials and employees. After the prayers, sweets including semai were arranged for the students of the residential hall in the morning.
A lunch was organized at the university cafeteria in the afternoon. During this time, the Vice-Chancellor exchanged Eid greetings with the students and inquired about them. Special food was provided to the students who had left their relatives and families and stayed in the residential halls.
At this time, the university's Registrar Dr. Md. Harun-or Rashid, Proctor Dr. Md. Ferdous Rahman, Director of the Student Counseling and Guidance Office Prof Dr. Md. Ilias Pramanik, along with teachers, students, officers and staff were present.
Besides, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali organized a luncheon at his residence in the presence of Rangpur Divisional Commissioner, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Rangpur District Police Superintendent, Rangpur Range DIG, Rangpur Metropolitan DC (Crime) and OCs of several police stations.
