A discussion meeting on climate change and women's health was held at Bagerhat. On the morning of May 15.
Deputy Commissioner Mohd Khalid Hossain was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting at the conference room of the district administration.
In the meeting, a keynote presentation was made on the issue of social, family, child marriage, natural disasters, and the wide range of health risks faced by women due to the effects of climate change, and a detailed discussion was made on various issues that should be done simultaneously by all to overcome this problem.
Organized by Non-Governmental Organization Badavan Sangh, Additional District Commissioner Sarbik Arvind Biswas presided over by Bagerhat Deputy Director of Agriculture Extension Department Shankar Kumar Majumdar, District Family Planning Department Deputy Director, District Social Services Officer, District Disaster Management Officer, Health Department Officer, District Animal Resource Officer and various others.
Officials of government departments, women leaders, NGO workers, students and victims participated in it.
