
Eid gifts distributed among helpless, poor by Army Zone in Matiranga

The 18th Field Regiment Artillery Matiranga Zone of Guimara Region of Khagrachhari has distributed Eid gifts to more than fifty helpless and poor people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha on Thursday morning.
Matiranga Zone Commander Lt. Col. Ibrahim Adham - PSC G, handed over these Eid gifts to the helpless and poor people.
In addition, cash assistance was provided to two financially insolvent families as medical assistance and cash assistance for the marriage of their daughters.
At this time, Matiranga Zone Deputy Commander Major Md. Masud Khan PSC exchanged advance Eid greetings with the beneficiaries.
In addition to maintaining law and order in the area under the responsibility of the zone, 18 Field Regiment Artillery Matiranga Army Zone is playing a leading role in building the country by distributing relief for the welfare of the poor and helpless people, providing free medical services, providing assistance to educational institutions and religious institutions, providing financial assistance to poor students, and conducting various socio-economic and development-oriented activities.
As a result of the distribution of Eid gifts, the people of the area under the responsibility of the zone responded positively to such humanitarian activities by the Matiranga Zone. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the zone and wished for its continued success.
After the distribution of Eid gifts, the zone commander said, the Bangladesh Army is working tirelessly in the service of humanity. Such humanitarian cooperation will continue in the future.
