Food-friendly dealers recruited thru' open lottery in Rajarhat

An open lottery has been held in Rajarhat, Kurigram to recruit dealers for the food-friendly program. 28 dealers from seven unions of the upazila were nominated in the program organized at the Upazila Model Mosque Hallroom.
UNO Md. Al Imran, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ashadul Haque, Upazila Food Controller Masuda Begum and Rajarhat Police Station Officer-in-Charge Taslim Uddin were present at the open lottery program on Thursday.
UNO Md. Al Imran said, "We are committed to selecting dealers through a fair and transparent process. Today's lottery is a reflection of that."
It is mentioned that these selected dealers will distribute food items at the union level at the subsidized price set by the government under the food-friendly program.
