A memorial meeting and Doa Mahfil of former general secretary of Gaibandha Press Club Abu Jafar Sabur was held at the Press Club auditorium on Monday. Gaibandha Press Club organized the event.
Vice-President of Gaibandha Press Club Khaled Hossain Press Club Chief Advisor KM Rezaul Haque, President Amitabh Das Himun, General Secretary Idrisuzzaman Mona, Vice-President Reznavi Raju, Shafiul Islam, Joint General Secretary Milon Khandaker, Organizing Secretary MdCultural activist Kamruzzaman Chan, Press Club executive member Khairul Islam, Ariful Islam Babu and journalist Kartik Chandra Barman discussed on Abu Jafar Sabur's long working life.
At the end of the discussion, prayed for forgiveness was conducted by Hafez Maulana Abdur Rakib of Kachari Bazar Jam-e -Masjid.
