Huge quantity of Indian liquor seized in Biral border

BGB seizes huge quantity of Indian liquor at Biral border in Dinajpur on Monday. Dinajpur Battalion (42 BGB) conducted a special operation at around 3:30 am on the Biral border of the district. During the operation, the Enayetpur BOP under Dinajpur Battalion (42 BGB) recovered 57 bottles of Indian liquor in an ownerless condition from an area called Dweepnagar village, approximately 400 yards inside Bangladesh, from the border pillar 323/2-S under Biral upazila of Dinajpur district. The Caesar value of the seized narcotics is approximately 85,500/- (eighty-five thousand five hundred) taka.Dinajpur Battalion (42 BGB) Commander Lt. Col. Abdullah Al Moin Hasan said,Legal action is being taken regarding the recovered drugs. At the same time, intelligence activities are continuing to identify the drug dealers involved in the escape and take appropriate legal action against them. In addition,In addition to ensuring the security of the country's borders, the BGB will continue its strict and regular operations to prevent drugs and smuggling in the future.
