
Human chain protesting teenage gang violence in Barishal

A human chain protesting the violence of teenage gangs was organized by the Mosque-Based Social Development Council in Ward 29, Baghia, Barisal city on Sunday.
The programme was presided over by Prof Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Vice President of the Mosque-Based Social Development Council.
Speaking at the event, Maulana Abdul Wadud, Deputy Principal, Finance Secretary of the Mosque-Based Social Development Council, Lecturer Maulana Masudur Rahman, Maulana Shahidul Islam, Md. Mahbubul Alam Mintu, Principal Akhter Faruk, Md. Monirul Islam and many others alleged that youth gangs were practicing, gambling and gambling in the surrounding areas of Ward No. 29 of the city, Abdur Razzak Khan Road, Hazrat Shahjalal Road, Hazrat Shah Paran Road.
The speakers said, we have been held hostage by youth gangs and terrorists since August 5th." In particular, in the Baghia area of Ward No. 29, gambling and drug use have increased, resulting in two robberies in a row. The locals demanded exemplary punishment for the teenage gang terrorists and robbers to build a drug-free city.
