
Hundred members of Sanatan families join BNP in Sreenagar

In Hasara of Sreenagar Upazila, nearly 100 members from around 20 Sanatan (Hindu) families joined BNP.
The joining took place at a view exchange meeting organized by local BNP leaders and activists, along with its affiliated bodies, on Friday at 5:30 PM on the sandy field near the Morolbari area of Hasara village.
At the initiative of Mohon Morol, former president of the Hasara Union unit of the BNP’s volunteer wing (Swecchasebak Dal), the members of the Sanatan families formally joined the BNP. The meeting was presided over by senior BNP leader Kamruddin Morol and moderated by Ruhul Amin Humayun, senior vice-president of Hasara Union BNP.
Speakers at the event included Shri Subol Rajbongshi, Md. Liton Hossain (Organizing Secretary of Hasara Union BNP), and Mohon Morol. Among others present were Uzzal Khan (convener of Hasara Union Swecchasebak Dal), Badhon Hossain (former joint general secretary of Munshiganj District Chhatra Dal), and local BNP leaders Mamunur Rahman, Monsur Bepari, Jamal Bepari, Abir Ahmed Didar, Auwal Majhi, UP female member Rowshan Ara Begum, Jubo Dal leaders Imran Ahmed and Ram Prashad, as well as Ripon Rajbongshi, Mithun Rajbongshi, Ajit Rajbongshi, Satya Rajbongshi, Sojin Rajbongshi, Chiranjit, Tushar Rajbongshi, Shipu, Sayan, Dipto, Saurav, and nearly 500 local men and women.
Local BNP leaders welcomed the Sanatan family members with flowers.
