The Indian Naval Ship (INS) "Sunayna" arrived at Chattogram Port on Friday for a three-day goodwill visit to Bangladesh. Upon the ship's arrival at the port, the Chief Staff Officer to the Commander of the Chattogram Naval Area welcomed the visiting ship's Commanding Officer, officers, and sailors.On this occasion, a well-appointed band of the Bangladesh Navy welcomed the ship with a traditional musical performance. Among others present to welcome the vessel were senior naval officers and representatives from the High Commission of India in Bangladesh. Earlier, as the visiting ship entered Bangladesh's territorial waters, it was accorded a reception by the Bangladesh Naval Ship (BNS) *Ali Haider*.During its stay in Bangladesh, a delegation—comprising the visiting ship's Commanding Officer and the Naval Advisor to the High Commission of India in Bangladesh—will pay courtesy calls on the Commander of the Chattogram Naval Area, the Commander of the BN Fleet, the Area Superintendent of the Dockyard, and the Chairman of the Chattogram Port Authority.As part of the visit itinerary, the officers and sailors of the visiting ship will inspect Bangladesh Navy training bases and vessels, as well as visit key historical sites and tourist attractions in Chattogram. Concurrently, officers and sailors of the Bangladesh Navy will also visit the Indian vessel. This goodwill visit will create an opportunity for the exchange of professional expertise between the navies of the two nations, while also further strengthening the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and India.It is  mentiined that, following the conclusion of the visit, the Indian Naval Ship is scheduled to depart from Bangladesh's territorial waters on May 10.
