Interdepartmental Futsal Tournament organized at BAIUST

The ‘Interdepartmental Futsal Tournament 2026’ was successfully organized by the BAIUST Sports Club of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST).
The ‘Interdepartmental Futsal Tournament 2026’ was successfully organized by the BAIUST Sports Club of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST).
The tournament was held from 10 May 2026 to 12 May 2026 at the central ground of the university. Students from different batches of the law department participated in the tournament as teams.
The 13th batch and the 9th batch of the law department faced each other in the final and the 9th batch won the try-breaker and became the champion of this year’s tournament.
The final match and prize distribution ceremony of the tournament were attended by the Registrar of the university and Chief Advisor of the Byeast Central Clubs, Lt. Col. Khandaker Mahmud Hossain, SPP, PSC (Retd.), Deputy Registrar (Admin) of the university, Major Syed Fazle Hossain (Retd.), Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Fatema Zohra, Head of the English Department and Advisor of the Byeast Sports Club, Md. Abdur Rashid, Head of the Law Department, Dr. Md. Naeem Alimul Haider, Lecturer Shamim Ahmed and Lecturer Lamia Dilsad Wajiha.
The overall host of the prize distribution ceremony of the tournament was Saimur Rahman, Lecturer of the Law Department and Co-Advisor of the Byeast Sports Club. Some members of the Executive Council of the Law Club and some students of the Ratsin Department were appointed as volunteers for the overall organization of the tournament.
