Jamaat-e-Islami's polling agents' training held in Nilphamari

A day-long polling agent training workshop was held on Sunday at the initiative of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Jaldhaka Upazila branch. This training was organized to make upazila-level agents skilled in view of the upcoming national parliament elections.
The training workshop was presided over by Mokhlesur Rahman Master, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Jaldhaka Upazila.
Obaidullah Salafi, Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated MP candidate for Nilphamari-3 constituency, spoke as the main discussant.Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nilphamari District Secretary Maulana Antazul Islam spoke as the chief guest, Upazila Nayeb Ameer Kamaruzzaman and Secretary Moammar Al Hasan also spoke at the event.
Upazila Assistant Secretary Mujahid Al Masum and Abu Tuba were also present.
The speakers in the training provided guidance on the responsibilities and roles of polling agents during the election period, rules and precautions to be taken. The participants got the opportunity to gain important experience from the training.
The leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami expressed the hope that through this training, party agents would be able to play an important role in the elections.
